One of England’s most original Soul voices will release a new album in April. Steve Ellis’ “BOOM! BANG! TWANG!” was recorded at Paul’s Black Barn Studio and co-produced by Weller.
“I recorded my new album at Paul’s studio. It’s very comfortable doing an album at Black Barn, and Paul, bless him, got really involved with it all… playing on various tracks with Andy and Ben from his band. Other guests included my good mates Cow, Dream Foundry, Mike D’Abo, Stone Foundation, and the John Schroeder Orchestra. It was a similar vibe to recording in the 60’s.” Steve Ellis
