The auction for Paul’s direct to vinyl recording of his performance at Soho Radio for Shindig Magazine now live! Paul and Steve Pilgrim played the beautiful song, “Glide.” This is a really incredible collectible, and also for a great cause.
Last month Paul Weller performed Glide, from his new album True Meanings, live at a Soho Radio Vinyl Session – where we cut the live track direct to vinyl. This one-of-a-kind acetate is now available to own, with all proceeds going to the housing and homelessness charity Shelter.
Soho Radio’s Vinyl Sessions see artists visit our central London studio to perform a track, which is cut direct to acetate using the station’s bespoke lathe. Each unique session ends with the new vinyl being played for the very first time live on air.
