If you’ve been following all our social media channels, you’ve not doubt seen our posts about the Soul Deep book Kickstarter campaign. The campaign went live on Friday (28 Feb) and 12 hours later was fully funded by the TSC massive! It was really cool to see so much excitement and love for this wonderful, perhaps misunderstood, but no doubt cherished band and adored by so many folks around the world. 🌐
If you’re a fan of Paul Weller’s mid-career period of eclectic musical adventure, ‘Soul Deep – Adventures With The Style Council’ should definitely be in your collection!
‘Soul Deep’ is a fully illustrated hard back coffee table book from Stuart Deabill, Ian Snowball and Steve Rowland, featuring exclusive new interviews, behind the scene stories, and quotes with some of the ‘Councillors’. There will also be insights, memories and recollections from fans who took ‘probably the best pop group in the world’ to their hearts.
Original artwork and photography that adorned the single and album sleeves along side tour posters, trade ads, merchandise and rare, unseen photographs will feature throughout the book. This will also be complimented with some of the fans personal memorabilia and music press covers, alongside rarely seen record and live reviews.
The book is portrait format measuring 288 x 245mm with a sewn hard back cover and wraparound dust jacket. It will have 240 full pages printed on 150gsm silk paper.
Soul Deep will come in 2 editions, a standard edition and limited edition. The limited edition features a different cover, will be signed and numbered by the team.
